🆕Hydra Bumper Plate Tree Builder

With the Hydra Bumper Plate Tree, you have the ability to customize this storage option with different upright heights, specific numbers of barbell holders, five different plate storage options, utility hooks, and caster wheels.

Therefore, you can keep it pretty tight or load it up (like below). You’ll also have the ability to change it up over time.

The build-out process is pretty fun, and I’m digging this option from BOS - check it out.

🆕Upgraded Rack Hardware from Bells of Steel

In our recent 2024 Power Rack/Squat Rack Survey Resultsit was shown that 27% of the respondents had a high interest in upgraded rack hardware.

Well, Bells of Steel just released an option for that 27% with some gold and black titanized bolts for their Hydra racks, which is their 3”x3” racks with 5/8” holes.

They may not improve your lifts, but they could make your gym look better. Ha!

🆕Barbell Resistance Band Hooks from Clench Fitness

This new tool from Clench allows users to transform an Olympic-style barbell into a resistance band bar by sliding the hook onto the end, adding a barbell clamp, and attaching a resistance band to the Carabiner.

The hook can accommodate bands up to 4 inches wide and provides clearance between the Carabiner and plates to prevent band-plate contact. Designed with high-quality materials, including an anodized aluminum Carabiner and a carbon steel, zinc-plated adapter collar, the hook is versatile, durable, and corrosion-resistant.

These are currently up for pre-orders with delivery being late August/early September.

In addition, Clench released this Nexus Bar, which allows for you to use resistance bands along with weights.

I thought this was pretty cool as well - relatively similar to the Harambe System.

🙃Rogue CTM-1 Now Includes TBD Launch Date

Many are excited about the release of the CTM, but its launch date continues to be delayed. The reasoning seems to be that they are too busy fulfilling the orders for the rack-mounted functional trainers.

The note on the product page includes a note that states:

We are holding the launch of new Functional Trainer variants until we get caught up on our backlog. The demand has far exceeded our estimates, and our team is working non-stop to meet it. The New FXT lineup has over 100 people busy at our factory in Columbus, Ohio. Once caught up, we will begin releasing new variants.

We appreciate your patience.”

📊Rack Attachments are “on the mind” right now.

When asked what type of gym equipment they are most interested in right now, rack attachments edged out specialty machines.

Those two options combined for 74% of the votes, whereas specialty bars/cardio equipment only comprised 24%.

This likely would not have been the case a few years ago, when specialty bars were HOT.
