🆕Signature Magpins from Darko

Darko Lifting recently released their Signature MagPins, a premium take on the standard magnetic rack pin many home gym owners use for quick adjustments. The idea is simple: a magnetic tip keeps the pin in place so you can quickly move safeties, J-cups, or attachments around the rack. What makes these different is that Darko allows you to add your own custom design to the head of the pin, giving people a way to personalize their rack a bit. Like many of Darko’s accessories, they lean toward the premium side at around $120 for the pair, but continue the brand’s focus on small upgrades that make everyday rack adjustments a little smoother.

🆕X-Press-O from Raw Motive Works

This is not a product for the average home gym consumer, but man it’s cool. Raw Motive Works recently released the X-Press-O, a premium plate-loaded shoulder press machine designed with adjustability and feel in mind. The unit features a converging press path along with five seat height adjustments and five handle-width settings, allowing lifters to dial in a comfortable pressing position. It also includes three grip options supinated, pronated, and neutral and stainless weight sleeves for standard plates. Despite being a dedicated shoulder press machine, the footprint is relatively compact at about 41" x 50", making it a more realistic option for higher-end home gyms or boutique training spaces looking for a premium pressing piece.

Traditional or Adjustable Kettlebells?

In a recent poll, we asked whether people would prefer adjustable or traditional kettlebells for their home gym, with space and budget in mind.

Traditional kettlebells were the clear winner, with 48.5% of the votes, compared to 31.6% for adjustable ones. 7.1% also voted for competition kettlebells, with 12.8% voting not sure.

However, I do believe that this will shift though as better adjustable kettlebells begin to be produced.
